From Property Management to the Front Rail: Why I Built Glitz Theory

If you would have told me a few years ago that I’d trade my corporate schedule for holographic mesh and pashminas, I might have laughed—but deep down, I always knew. For five years, I navigated the fast-paced world of property management here in Virginia Beach. I loved the hustle, but my heart was always waiting for the next festival. There is a specific kind of magic that happens at the front rail of a stage like Lost Lands—a sense of belonging and raw energy that you just can’t find in an office.

The Problem & The Solution The turning point for me was a string of "outfit heartbreaks." We’ve all been there, babe: you spend weeks planning the perfect look, only for a strap to snap or the fabric to tear during the very first set of the weekend. I was tired of festival fashion feeling like "fast fashion." I wanted high-performance gear that could keep up with a headliner set and look just as good at the 4 AM sunrise set as it did at doors.

That’s why I built Glitz Theory. I wanted to create pieces that were dance-floor tested and built for the marathon that is a three-day weekend.

The Dog Mom Hustle Outside of the shop, I’m a proud dog mom to my two girls, Stella and Coco. Anyone who has dogs knows that life is messy, high-energy, and requires things to be tough. Whether it’s jumping up to say hi or just keeping up with a busy household, I’ve learned that if something isn't durable, it isn't worth having. That same standard for quality is what I pour into every single stitch of this brand. I’m building a legacy of craftsmanship, ensuring every woman who wears my designs feels as strong and resilient as the fabric itself.

"Festivals are the one place where we can truly shed our 'everyday' skins and show the world who we are. Glitz Theory is about more than clothes; it’s about the power of the community that dances beside you.
